Quaint charm with beautiful views
Locanda Milano 1873 has a quaint family-run charm with stunning panoramic views. The close proximity to the funicular makes it easy to explore Lake Como, and the friendly staff always went the extra mile.
The room we stayed in was quite dated and didn't meet expectations for comfort, especially with the lack of air conditioning. The breakfast was disappointing and limited, which could have been better given the reputation.

The Small Double Room was simple but clean, which I appreciated. It had good soundproofing, so we slept well despite some noise from neighbors. The balcony situation was a bit frustrating since we ended up with a room without one, but the charm of the hotel made it bearable. the views from the windows were stunning, which definitely added to the experience.
